New developments 2010 - Introducing the “More than 15.500 products per hour output!” At the Tube 2010 in Düsseldorf BEWO will present the new automatic cutting line ‘SCF SIGMA’ with SCD 90 de-burring unit. The integration of a new automatic stacking concept/solution will be demonstrated at this years’ Tube 2010. This concept/solution will mean that the cutting line will have unlimited flexibility when looking at discharge options. Standard diameter range for the BEWO SCF-SIGMA is from 8-90 mm outside diameter, with option to go up to 103mm, for squares 12x12 mm, max 70x70 mm and rectangles max 70x40 mm. Starting of 2010, in addition to the automatic cutting machines and the small manual 250&315 cold-saws, BEWO Cutting Systems again will be able to offer a complete line of BEWO band saws. As mentioned before the new sales organisation of BEWO Cutting Systems has chosen to work with a clear distribution strategy selected on geographical areas and skilled distribution networks. We’ve managed to align our distributors in various parts of the world, where besides sales-tasks our distributors will also be part of the increasingly important after-sales. By creating a world-wide network of BEWO distributors we are convinced we will be able to satisfy our customers’ needs in a faster and more efficient way. We hope to meet you on our booth 6E51, in Hall 6 and would be more than happy to show you our complete program. |

BEWO’s intelligent solutions for tube cutting
on the EMO 2009 Hall 14 Booth P13 During the EMO, BEWO Cutting Systems will show the new Single SCF 90 with SCD- 90 de-burring unit. The BEWO SCF-90 Single offers the ideal solution for the super-fast production of smaller volumes of different types of products. Because of its unique flexibility and extremely short changeover times, this machine makes it possible to dramatically reduce the production costs of smaller batches. Allowing you to respond to rapidly changing market conditions with greater success and profitability. As the flexible ‘Single’ version of the SCF-90 line, this machine features the same top-class technology as the Quatro which can cut up to six tube simultaneously, tube diameters of 8 – 90 mm, rectangular and square profiles from 10 x 10 mm to 80 x 80 mm. The BEWO SCF-90 Single combines a high level of automation with the most advanced servo techniques. A “coach” guides the operator quickly and simply through the set-up menu, thus eliminating incorrect settings. The innovative jaw system also contributes significantly to its unique flexibility. It is a hydraulically operated double jaw system that comes standard with flat rear jaws and an inclined front jaw. Whether you want to switch from rod stock to a rectangular profile, from a round to a square tube, from a minimum to a maximum diameter, from a thin to a thick wall, your operator does it in almost no time – without changing clamping and transport jaws! Just enter the new product specifications in the BEWO operating menu, that’s all. The intelligent interaction of software and machine technology does the rest: the optimum jaw pressure, saw feed, cutting speed; all settings are automatically adjusted.
We hope to meet you on our booth P13, in Hall 14 and would be more than happy to show you our complete program. |

Global Distributors Event, 7 May 2009 After months of preparation the new BEWO Cutting Systems proudly organised its first official Distributors Event. On Thursday 7th of May more than 25 persons from 16 countries all around the world have travelled to Tilburg to attend at several presentations and demonstrations. This was the perfect opportunity to show them the new BEWO. Responses were very positive. Besides getting to know the new organisation there was of course the possibility between networks to exchange knowledge and experiences. During the factory tour several automated sawing machines were demonstrated. The production of parts, assembly of the manually and automatic operated sawing machines were displayed. One of the new generation sawing lines “Quatro SCF-90” destined for the American market was in full working order. This particular unit SCF-90 Quatro has been build in combination with an automatic de-burring-unit and optical measuring-unit (SCD-90+SCC-90) followed by an automatic BEWO stacking machine (SCP-90). Our FCH was fitted with a custom-made automatic-hacking-unit, this machine was ready to be delivered to a customer in the Benelux. A “stand-alone” SCF-90 Single with de burring-unit was also demonstrated. A couple of suppliers also attended the event with an information-booth. Our sister company Safan presented 2 of its machines, the E-brake and B-Shear. The new sales organisation of BEWO cutting systems has chosen to work with a clear distribution strategy selected on geographical areas and skilled distribution networks. We’ve managed to align our distributors in various parts of the world, where besides sales-tasks our distributors will also be part of the increasingly important after-sales. By creating a world-wide network of BEWO distributors we are convinced we will be able to satisfy our customer needs in a faster and more efficient way. During the evening event, all participants raised their glass on a successful day and the new BEWO Cutting Systems! |

BEWO Cutting Systems is on full strength again!
Per October 29th 2008 NIVORA Holding B.V. in Lochem, Netherlands, acquired the activities of BEWO B.V. in Tilburg, the Netherlands. BEWO operates already for many decades on an international scale in the field of metal tubes cutting systems. The Dutch based company SAFAN B.V. (www.safan.nl) in Lochem is also part of NIVORA Holding B.V. and has an excellent reputation as a world-wide well known manufacturer of high quality and innovative sheet-metal working machines. SAFAN is a very solid financial company with a successful track-record with own operations/branches in the Netherlands, the U.K., Germany and Asia.
NIVORA Holding financed this acquisition up to 100% including the working capital by own financial means. As SAFAN and BEWO are serving customers in similar and/or complementary markets, occasionally also operating through the same agents and/or distributors, these and other synergies between BEWO and Safan will be strengthened and enforced.
The name of the new company is BEWO Cutting Systems B.V. and will continue with former BEWO-activities including the manufacturing of the existing range of metal tube sawing machines and systems, both the standard devices (CPO Machines) and the specialties (tailor made and customized sawing and cutting solutions). BEWO staff is fully focussed on restructuring and preparing the organisation for the near future, putting a lot of emphasis on marketing, production, product development, engineering and logistics. BEWO will be able to provide the market with high quality machines and services, realized by a pro-active organisation, existing out of high professionals and experts, having a solid financial fundament.
