Kent represents Bewo at Fabtech

The Dutch developer and manufacturer of high performance automated tube cutting lines Bewo Cutting Systems B.V. will be represented by Kent Corporation (OH) at the Fabtech in Atlanta (USA) from 10 to 12 November 2014. Kent and Bewo have started their strong relationship more than 20 years ago. Besides the Bewo tube cutting equipment, Kent offers coil handling, welding, accumulators, tube mills, consumables and deburring equipment to the metal forming industry. Kent is the exclusive North American distributor for Bewo.

At the Fabtech Kent will be giving an impression of the fully automatic tube cutting lines that Bewo develops and produces. Kent’s CEO, Dean Costello explains why he is so positive about representing Bewo’s automatic cutting lines: “With Bewo it’s not just looks. The cutting lines are very distinctive in many ways. Bewo has a high degree in technical know-how and customisation. This high degree makes them very flexible regarding the configuration of the machines and they can realise integrated plug and play solutions. Another unique point of Bewo’s cutting lines are the extreme short changeover times. Changing over a complete line consisting of a cutting machine (SCF-90 Sigma), deburring machine, a digital length control system and a stacking robot is simple and takes roughly 12 minutes and just a few tools. These are just some examples of the high quality that Bewo lives up to.”

Bewo also shows excellent references from their customers. For example last year, at the end of 2013, Bewo installed two automated cutting lines at Ruukki Metals Oy in Finland. Ruukki graded Bewo as “excellent”. The high rating was mainly earned by the smooth and flawless delivery plus installation combined with intensive training for the Ruukki operators.

Besides supplying high quality equipment, flawless installation and training of customers’ personnel, Bewo is committed to keep on bringing new impulses to the market. They have expanded their collaboration with Sales & Service Partners in several European countries and they have recently introduced a web shop for dealers and end‑users of the manual operated Bewo CPO‑315 saw in the Benelux. Also outside Europe and USA, Bewo is a well-known and broadly represented brand within the Global tube processing business.
